Like the book of Nahum, this book is also concerned with the ruthless
Assyrian foe, but it also has fresh insights to contribute. It
begins with a complaint about God's seeming indifference to the
plight of His people.
Habakkuk 1.vv.1-13
The prophet is reassured by God's answer that salvation will surely
come.
Habakkuk 2.vv.1-4
The book ends on a joyful note of trust in God's goodness.
