Can you help? We have people looking to buy or lease land to grow organic crops for vegetable box schemes. Any lease would have to be long enough to make it worth the conversion period and the time required to build soil fertility. Please contact Geoff at maidenv@zetnet.co.uk if you have land or know of some that might be available. Thanks. |

The Farmers' Market in Maidenhead takes place in the Grove Road car park (between Broadway and York Road) on the second Sunday of each month (see Events page for confirmation of dates).
This is a joint initiative by the Town Centre Manager and Maidenhead & District Friends of the Earth.
The idea is to offer high quality, locally-produced food (usually within 30 miles of the market) direct to the customer.
For stallholders at the Maidenhead market there is a small fee to cover site tidying costs. Producers who wish to take part should write to: Kath Pinto, c/o Town Centre Manager's Office, Town Hall, St Ives Rd, Maidenhead. The only conditions are that you live within 50 miles of Maidenhead and that you will be selling your own produce at the market.
