Welcome to the Home Page for the newsgroup on Indian food and drink within the *uk hierarchy. The group is not moderated and anyone may post, you do not have to be resident in the UK. It was set up in September 2001 following a suggestion in uk.food+drink.misc
This site has a FAQ page, listing topics which link to pages with questions and answers which have been posted in uk.food+drink.indian (e.g. curry powder and garam masala recipes, how to deal with fresh chillies, drinks to go with curries, and much more). The Charter is also available for reference.
The Topics Index leads you to recipe lists or other references without scrolling through the questions, and on to individual recipes, one per page for ease of printing.
