TIMBER WORK

THRASHING

'Bathsheba', a Gibbons and Robinson 7nhp, is brought into position, the driving belt for the thrashing machine is fitted onto the fly-wheel and the alignment of engine, thrashing machine and baler is checked.
The engine, built in 1890/91 Works No. 959, Registration No. AY 9874, was the last one of the seven to be built, and is the sole survivor of the series.
