Born in Driffield, in what was then the East Riding of Yorkshire (hence the White Rose at the top of the page) shortly after the end of the severe winter of 1947.
Works Part time as Skills Officer for Adults with Learning Disabilities (a mouthful at any time and impossible to fit in boxes labelled Occupation) for Gwynedd Council. Has a wide range of interests including Corn Dollies and Harvest Customs, Clogs, Museums and Heritage Centres, visiting old houses and gardens, reading, Celtic Artforms, various forms of crochet, needlework and macramé, British mythology, Computer Graphics. |

Born in Gresford,near Wrexham in pre-Clwyd Denbighshire, before the hard winter of 1947 (i.e. in 1946). (Gresford was the site of a tragic coalmining disaster in 1934.)
Works fulltime+ as the co-owner of a tyre supply business (or a tyre fitter, depending on who is asking) in Ruthin. Also has a wide range of interests including; Steam Engines of all types, other vintage transport, die cast models, Planes and Airshows, Museums and Heritage Centres, visiting old houses and gardens, reading, target shooting, photography, hi-fi and a wide range of music. |

Has an MA in Medieval History from St. Andrews University in Fife. Now partway through an MA course in Heritage Information/Education aat Newcastle upon Tyne. |
