The Landmark centre was our educational visit of the camp. the landmark
centre is a forest heritage park which explains the history and prehistory
of forests and forestry in the area.
There was a mssive amount to see: steam powered sawmill, tree top walkway with information points all over the place, forest walks, practical demonstrations and hands on sawing, slide shows and video presentations. However all the scouts took photos of were the big tower, a hut and loads of shots of the water slide. Ah well! |
