WELCOME TO AMERICON
I think it was Marx who said "Capitalism has a tendency to veer towards the monolopy."
This statement certainly holds a great deal of truth. Any objective view of politics in the western world will back this up, and without doubt the most virulant strain of capitalism in the west is American.
America likes to think it invents things, but the main problem with things American is that they are always wrapped up in their superfluous two centuries worth of 'culture'. We in Europe have a culture that goes back over two thousand years, the town where I do my shopping is pre-Roman. Merlin, the fourth century Welsh bard, lived there - so what do I care about mickey mouse, yet the local Womans Institute practice American quilt-making and American Line Dancing. WHY? Because they have been on a computer course and are now 'plugged in' - perhaps?
You see, 'The way the west was won' didn't end with eradicating the native people of a land and establishing the 'most powerful' nation on earth, their sights are now set on expanding their bogus new world ethos across the globe. And thanks to their technology they can now do it without leaving home.
Microsoft the American shop window.
I remember only too well the launch of Windows 95 in Britain. The 9 o'clock News from the BBC had Bill Gates flanked by Angela Rippon and Carol Vorderman (was it the money, girls?) in a showcase stunt straight from Hollywood. And, of course, it worked, and within the space of just a year Microsoft had the British high street all to itself and nowadays every town probably has a couple of hopful backyard 'companies' botching together PC's from cheap, mass-produced components.
The fatal flaw in this master plan is that Windows is actually a crap operating system, and the whole archetecture of a PC is hoplessly outdated and totally resource hungry (quite apart from eating your wallet). Microsoft have said 'You've got to be paranoid to survive' - oh, really? That probably explains why they have been buying strategic companies who pose a threat to their monopoly just to shelve their ideas.
Microsoft, the blood of a better future is on their hands.
Monopoly by another name is facism. Microsoft - now you have no choice.
And of course it's not just Microsoft. When McDonalds, the American fast-food giant, set up in Japan, they went there with the sole intention of changing the diet of a nation from fish to beef. Allow me to quote the president of McDonalds in Japan, Den Fujita, - "the reason Japanese people are so short and have yellow skins is because they have eaten nothing but fish and rice for two thousand years"; "if we eat McDonalds hamburgers and potatoes for a thousand years we will become taller, our skin become white and our hair blonde". If you wish to know about this in detail, then I would suggest you take a look at

Not all Americans are like this of course, but then not all Germans were Nazi's.
WAKEY WAKEY, MICKEY - this is your reality call

This minority group which tops the table, represents just 4.6% of the world's population, consumes 25% of the world's beef and has the highest fat consumption, per person, of any nation on earth.
It is estimated that by the end of the century 50% of the American population will be clinically obese.
Out in the real world, most of the remaining population is starving.
Does it not concern you that if you purchase a T-Shirt in Disneyland for $20, it's actually made in a Third World sweatshop for just a few cents?
