A N N I E ' S   S P A C E


Hi, I'm one of the Webfarm residents and am involved in graphic design and Web Page authoring. I also play keyboards, engineer in the Recording Studio, and try to keep the organic garden together - and the goats from eating it!!

The originals of the two images below are full screen compositions I got together in rare periods of 'spare time'.

I don't have much time for 'hobbies' as such, but get great release by gardening, walking the fields and woods which surround the farmhouse, and reading.

RUSH

I find no words are sufficient to describe what this band mean to me. A truly magical combination where each facet compliments and enhances all the others. Their lyrical content is exceptional and it's a pity that more people don't hear what they have to say because they can't get close to their musical style.

Finally got to see them live (after over 12 years of too much work/too little money/them not playing Britain), in 1991. Three totally exhilarating gigs, one at Birmingham NEC and two at Wembley


It's been so good to have had their company over all this time - long may they continue!

 FORMULA 1

I'm totally fascinated by all aspects of this sport, from the technical specifications of the different cars and the characteristics of the circuits, to the team structure and race strategies - not forgetting, of course, the drivers themselves. The excitement of 'real' racing and overtaking has been lacking over the last couple of years and although safety has to be paramount, we still need the adrenalin buzz that 'processional' races fail to provide.

No prizes for guessing my favourite driver - unfortunately I haven't had time to compose another picture in his present team colours.
