As extraction of dust is so effective, work can be undertaken on materials such as aluminium, G.R.P., epoxies, etc. with much greater safety. The grinding of aluminium is now recognised as a real health problem. Seco yet again are ahead of all other manufacturers by solving this health risk on a complete range of abrasive belt grinders and finishers. The very effective dust extraction is possible by coupling up any dust collecting Beltit, Beltit Roller or Band-it model to an industrial vacuum unit or plant vacuum system. With the Beltit, the efficiency is due to the fact that we collect the dust from two points - from the grinding head and from the inside of the housing. |

All Beltit, Band-it & Beltit Rollers have been designed to offer low sound levels. The Beltit No1 (SH) has a recording of 75.2 dB(A) at 90 PSI (6.12 Bar) when measured from 1.5 metres from the tool. All Beltit, Band-it & Beltit Roller models are below 80 dB(A). |
