Despite dull weather, not unusual in November London, a day of such fun was rarely had. Tom & Juliette were married in St Brides, Fleet Street, a church and, indeed, a location, steeped in history. Guests arrived by black cab through the quite weekend streets and the church was soon packed. Juliette, leaving from a friend's flat in Middle Temple, braved the weather and walked to church.Candle light the service and the choir sang themes reflecting the day.

After the service the new Mr & Mrs Thorogood took the wise option and fetched a cab back to the Middle Temple Hall for the reception. Pixie lights and silver birch arches created a fabulous fairy tale feel to the great oak panelled hall. Finger-food was served intially followed by the opening of 2 food stalls serving traditional crepes on the right, bangers and mash on the left.
Speeches took place around the central arch folllowing the cuting of the dramatic red cake, stright from the fridge and steaming with frost.
We wish the happy couple every success in their new life together, not to mention every success with their current project, an AC Cobra currently beckoning their attention!
Married on 18th May 1996 at St Paul's Church, East Molesey, Surrey. Under a dark and threatening sky, the rain held off only temporarily as the couple left the church for the reception at The Woodlands Park Hotel, Stoke d'Abernon. Dreams of a ride in an open top Rolls Royce Phantom (there is some debate as to whether these were the dreams of Alex and Helen or the Bride's Father!) could not be realised, but a closed top Phantom, that epitome of British style, did the job instead.
Fearless Alex and his 6' 7" best man related stories of horrendous injuries on the ski slope that Alex had assumed was an ill fitting boot. The sense of adventure continued after the wedding with a honeymoon for Alex and Helen learning to dive in an obscure part of the Far East.
We wish them well!

Married at St.Mary's Church, Weybridge in Surrey, England. The service took place at 2.30pm on Saturday 4th May 1996.
Around 100 guests enjoyed the reception at the Woodlands Park Hotel, Stoke d'Abernon with more friends arriving for the evening's live band and dancing.
Lesley and one of her bridesmaids Hilary were both members of Britian's premier dance troupe, frequently featured on BBC TV's 'Come Dancing'. Groom Andrew had taken lessons prior to taking to the dance floor with Lesley for a dramatic and galantly performed first dance, just before the 'pros' took over!

The attractive church of St Mary Oatlands was the venue on May 11th 1996 for Phil and Sally's wedding in Weybridge, Surrey. Excellent weather and a relaxed atmosphere prevailed. Both bride and groom smiled the whole way through and the large number of friends who were able to attend added to an excellent and enjoyable day.
At the Woodland Park Hotel in Stoke d'Abernon, a full reception was held followed by speeches that had the guests in stitches of laughter. The props included a gorgeous red hairpiece for the groom and a one man satelite tracking headset for the best man.
Phil and Sally will make their home together in Weybridge.
