Because I do play the guitar, am a fan of both Roy and Nick Harper , and initiated the usenet newsgroup alt.fan.bonzo-dog I am often asked if I am Andy Roberts the musician who has had a long and illustrious recording career involving the Liverpool Scene, Scaffold, Iain Mathews, Roy Harper, the Rutles etc. I have never, however, accompanied Roy, toured with Neil Innes, nor been in a band with Paul McCartney's brother.

One Andrew C. Roberts is a mineralogist with the Geological Survey of Canada, specialist in documentation of new mineral species, in particular from low-temperature secondary parageneses. Andy named a mineral after his ( our ) name. Andyrobertsite is a beautiful electric blue mineral found in a mine in Namibia.
