G40 THE FOUR GOSPELS

We include the Four Gospels exactly as they stand.

There are innumerable books and commentaries on the Four Gospels, and although we wish the Gospels to "speak for themselves", as the Word of God has always done, we have included from passages from the Gospels with a brief commentary on the theme of each passage, 52 general commentaries for the 52 weeks of the year (A passages) and 20 on Feast and Fast Days (B passages). These are in the second part of this work, "We Preach Christ".
