This book contains a mass of regulations which are not all relevant to a modern non-Jewish reader, but two brief passages commend themselves.

This brief but lovely passage known as the 'Priestly Benediction' is well loved by all Jews and Christians.

The commissioning of Joshua as the successor of Moses is of great interest, since it prefigures the practice of religious commissioning down through the history of Jews and Christians to the present day.
