Impressive site and a joy to take a trip down memory lane by reading the Visitor's Book. It seems like a million years ago since we organised the Trojans game v Nottingham Hoods at the old Northumberland County Rugby Ground in Gosforth, enjoyed flattening the snow on the pitch at Northern Rugby Club and marked the lines in food dye so that we could play Washington Presidents and try to stomp on Jeff Rutter. I still remember the trip to Dublin to play the Celts with fondness and the thrill of seeing Sal make his debut and the train south to see the Cowboys play the Bears at Wembley. Best wishes from the Highlands to everyone who knew me and if anyone ever finds out who spent the money after I left the Club - please feel free to email me. (PS I think I am owed expenses for the trip to Leicester for the Panthers v Olympians Game. Remember the shock when we beat them??? Utter joy! BJ the Bear and Co!)

Al'reet lads,
Sorry about the loss, what can I say? What is it going to take to make that extra step when it counts? Yet again the mighty G have got so close yet still remain so far. However, I'm sure that yet again the Geordie massif have raised the bar for league respect and done the club proud. I cannot tell you what it is like to not be around you all anymore; kitting up for game day, the blood, the sweat, the tears, and the beers. I truly miss you all and can not wait to get back on the same field as you again. I now understand why people like Sloany, Rapper and all the old nackers keep coming back for more. 'Nuff respect lads (as they say down south) and hope you keep pulling on the cleats. I think I will be a Senator till I die.
Life over here in the US is going well, working hard and all that, however nothing compares to the fog on the Tyne. But they have Broon Ale on tap! What a Belta! Doing plenty of work with some of the top athletes at the college - guys that will go on to play in the NBA, NFL and all that, so pretty cool. Anyway, enjoy the off season and look forward to the Hilversum game where you can again show the Dutch national champs that they will never defeat the Geordie nation. You never know, maybe Big Dunc will even be around to show you how it is done. Get in touch fellas, it would be great to hear from you. All the best,
Big Dunc (#28; The Future)

There's always next year, when you can't play linebacker you can have a rest on the O-line any day my friend.
To all the rest of the guys, it's once more been a pleasure. A special mention to Riley, you are my lineman of the year (easily), put your hanky away. You still owe Bear a fiver, you know what for!!!

I would just like to apologise for not finishing the game on Sunday but we had to be sensible and think of our safety. We were down to 3 regular O line and one of those is a rookie, and another had just had his bells rung due to lack of concentration because he hadn't been off the field once all half. It is something the team has never done before and something myself personally I hope I never have to do again, It was a very hard thing to take in.
Thanks for a good game(or Half a game)
I always enjoy playing against you guys and it's good to have a chat afterwards. Just a shame you lot aren't making the trip down here this year, we might have had a few more players turn up for a home game.(might)
We will Bounce back I promise.
Best of luck for the rest of the Season.

OK Rapper - I made a comment I'm sure a lot would agree - the linemen helped "Dunc" get all those yards. If not without "YOU" I don't believe the O line would be what or 1/2 of what it is - yes John is a friend of mine and I am friends with a lot of the O line and some of them have received awards in the past, not Big John though - hmmmm? I'm really glad the Senators are doing well. Keep it up - but imagine it with out Rapper - and he has also played D line too.

Please pay no attention to Paul Wardle. If he is in part time retirement, he is not doing a very good job, as he has had no contact with the club for quite a few seasons. The Caesars will fulfill all their fixtures as they always do (including the trip to East Kilbride), and we will always turn out a squad that will give you a good game.
We had a nice win this weekend over a strong Cheshire side, so we can't be that bad, can we.
Just for you information, Paul, 'The Rat' is property of the Hoods AFC, so if the Rat does come back, it won't be to the Caesars (and not Nottingham).

So i dont know what gives him the right to comment on the state of our team. Cant wait to play you guys, hopefully i wont have to play QB this year and can stick to the backfield and more than likely the usual role of IRONMAN (as we all have to play both ways against you lot away)
