Welcome to my guide to buying 2^nd hand CDs. This is really just a list of shops which I personally find quite handy when looking for CDs. It deals in the main with second hand and independent dealers as opposed to the large chains, not because I've anything against the large chains, it's just that they are easier to find. It is also not meant to be an exhaustive list but merely a record of those shops I know.

I've included a short comment about each shop to give an insight into the amount of stock and other items on sale. It is important to remember however that with second hand dealers in particular you never know what you might find. One month you could go in and find nothing of interest, the next you could find a veritable goldmine!

If in the comments I've said that a shop has an extensive range it means that you are probably more likely to find something obscure. This could be albums by bands most people have never heard of. One shop for example has an Acid Reign section!

I have found buying second hand CDs to be fairly safe. Most shops will test them to some extent and if the CDs are in their cases on display you can look for any nasty scratches.
