VI 1937-1952
The first issue in the reign
of George VI was the crown colony omnibus issue celebrating the Coronation
of George VI on 12th May 1937.

Following this a definitive
set was issued in 1938 with values ranging from ½d to 10/-. The colour
of the 1d value was changed from green to yellow orange in 1940 and in 1949
the 1d, 1½d and 2d were re-issued in 2 colours.

in 1946 celebrating Victory, then in 1948 featuring the Royal Silver Wedding
and in 1949 celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Universal Postal Union.
