KING EDWARD VII

Edward VII 's reign was relatively short from 1901-1910. Consequently only a total of 12 stamps were issued. The first issue was 2 values in 1902 of values ½d and 1d, where the portrait of Queen Victoria had been replaced by that of the new King.

In 1903 a set of 6 pictorial issues appeared in values ½d, 1d, 2d, 8d, 1s and 2s. 3 values featured Government House and the other 3 The Wharf. All incorporated the portrait of the King.

In 1908 a set of 4 appeared in values 2½d, 4d, 6d and 10s. All values had reverted to the small format showing the standard Crown Colony portrait.
