Ashley        by Gill Warner

Ashley what are you doing?
You are a naughty cat,
Get down off the table,
You know you shouldn't do that.

Get your head out of the milk jug
and leave the meat alone,
It's not at all hygienic
The way you're going on.

Oh yes you can look innocent,
With eyes so big and wide,
And rub yourself around my legs,
Then run away and hide.

Stop trying to get round me,
With that soft and gentle purr,
For I know what you're up to,
You mischievous ball of fur.

Curled up nice and peaceful,
Now the day is done,
Dreaming dreams of exciting things,
And adventures yet to come.
