Lilac pink (H11) flowers, Aug-Nov, with straw yellow foliage in summer, deepening to coral in winter and spring. Susceptible to winter damage if planted in heavy ground, frost pockets or cold windy aspects. Found near Wareham, Dorset, England. Ht. 21-25cm. Spd. 46-60cm.
Magenta (H14) flowers, Aug-Oct with grey-green foliage. Broad upright habit. Found in Brittany, France by L. Denkewitz c.1990. Ht. 30cm. Spd. 40cm.
Mauve (H2) flowers, Aug-Nov, with mid-green foliage. Requires annual trimming to retain a neat tidy appearance. Name of the finder's house. Ht. 31-45cm. Spd. 46-60cm.
Rose pink (H7) flowers, Aug-Oct, with mid-green foliage. Very distinctive flower colour. Found near Corfe Castle, Dorset, England. Ht. 16-20cm. Spd. 31-45cm.
Bicolour flowers, white at the base with pale beetroot (H9) tips, Jul-Oct and grey-green foliage. Loose open habit. Named after the finder and found north of Carnac, Brittany, France. Ht. 26-30cm. Spd. 31-45cm.
Lilac-pink (H11) flowers, Jul-Nov, but may last into December, in long racemes. Tall, loose growth with grey-green foliage. It was found below Caldas de Mouchique, Algarve, Portugal, by John R. Tucker, Worthing, Sussex, England in 1983. The Portuguese phrase means fairy of the mountain. Ht. 90cm. Spd. 50cm.
Large globose lilac pink (H11) flowers, Aug-Nov, with mid-green foliage. Broad erect habit. Ht. 26-30cm. Spd. 46-60cm.
Deep mauve (H2) flowers, Aug-Nov, with grey green foliage. Untidy habit but develops into a bushy plant. Somewhat tender. Found in Portugal by G. Maw, Brossley, Staffordshire, England. Ht. 31-45cm. Spd. 31-45cm.
Crimson (H13) flowers, Jul-Oct, with dark green foliage. Found near Wareham, Dorset, England, it is named after Mrs C.H. Gill of Thirsk, North Yorkshire. Progeny: 'White Wings'. Ht. 16-20cm. Spd. 31-45cm.
Magenta (H14) flowers, Sep-Oct, with light yellow/green foliage throughout the year. Compact. Ht. 10-15cm. Spd. 31-45cm.
Globose purple (H10) flowers, Aug-Oct, with mid-green foliage. Forms a large dome. Similar to 'Globosa' but has a shorter flowering period. Ht. 31-45cm. Spd. 46-60cm.
Lavender (H3) flowers fading to pale lilac (H4) at the base of the corolla, Aug-Oct, with dark green foliage. Ht. 26-30cm. Spd. 31-45cm.
White flowers, Jul-Oct, with mid-green foliage. Erect habit. This plant, the best white E. ciliaris, was found near Stoborough, Dorset, England. It is unclear who found it but it is likely to be someone associated with the Maxwell & Beale nursery. Ht. 21-25cm. Spd. 31-45cm.
White flowers, Aug-Sep, with dark grey-green foliage. Spreading habit. Sport from 'Mrs. C.H. Gill' found at "Foxhollow", Windlesham, Surrey, England. Ht. 10-15cm. Spd. 31-45cm.
Large pale shell pink (H16) flowers, Aug-Nov, with mid-green foliage. Upright habit forming a large bush. Found on Wych Heath, Dorset, England. Ht. 26-30cm. Spd. 46-60cm.
