Small white, finely hairy flowers Feb-Jun, with broad bright green leaves. Erect, vigorous habit. It grows to 4m in its native South African home but can be kept to 1m in a conservatory or greenhouse. This heath likes moist conditions. Has survived -7°C (20°F) air frosts but is destroyed by -11°C (9°F) air frosts. Ht. > 100cm. Spd. 61-75cm.
