Masses of crimson (H13) flowers, Aug-Oct, with dark green foliage. Outstanding. Neat compact upright habit. A dark flowered seedling raised at the University of Liverpool Botanic Gardens, Ness (hence its name!), Cheshire, England by M. C. Pratt. Progeny: 'Coby', 'Copper Glow', 'Dark Beauty', 'Dark Star', 'Denny Pratt', 'Ellen', 'Highland Spring', 'Sellingsloh', 'Whiteness'. Ht. 21-25cm. Spd. 31-45cm.
