Dalcha, made with chicken
30ml onion oil,
heated, and half tsp of fresh ground garam masala added.
Added 240g chicken breasts, cut into bite sized pieces.
Fried for 5 mins, then added crushed curry leaves (about 12)
Liquidized 125ml veg. stock,
125g tinned organic green lentil and 125g tinned chick peas.
Added to pot, and cooked for 5 minutes.
Added salt to taste.

Result. Good flavour, quite hot and not sour.
Did not add tamarind juice, and it didn't need it, IMHO.
