What is the best way of reproducing the Onion Chutney you get in the retaurants?
I normally use paprika,lemon juice,cayenne and cumin ...but it just isn't the same.
Presumbably it's bought wholesale .. don't seem to have seen it though.

here goes then ( trust me on the ketchup - honest )
1 large onion - sliced
8 tablespoons of Tomato Ketchup
1 tsp salt
1 heaped tsp chilli powder or tsp lazy red chillies
1 tbs Mint sauce
just bung it all in a bowl and mix it all together (use your hands)
