Later Prominences 2

This image was taken at about the same time as the previous one but at a lower exposure so is much darker. This makes the prominences stand out more as there is less interference from the bright corona. The three prominences at the lower left are now quite distinct and the large prominence at the upper right is becoming more covered. The left two of the three lower prominences will soon be lost to view when the final diamond ring effect drowns them in its glare as the solar surface re-emerges. The one at the bottom is still visible in lower exposed images.
