Re Mary Sinclair's family with William Thom,of the two daughters who appear to have married, the Mowats would seem to have had 5 children. One born in Dunoon the rest in Glasgow, with Eric Sinclair Mowat being the second child. The Patersons only had 4 Children. Both sisters called one of their daughters Mary Sinclair.....! So Mary Sinclair had 9 'Thom' grandchildren over and above the 'Smith' ones.

(Robert Leslie SMITH was born in 1813 in Cameron, Fife, Scotland, christened on 22 Oct 1813 in Cameron, Fife, Scotland and died on 16 Apr 1902 in Dunoon, Argyll, Scotland.) The cause of his death was old age, pernicious anaemia.
