We are an indigenous Shetland family, living in the most beautiful and scenic part of Mainland Shetland. Tranquillity, pure clean air, and a relaxed, stress free pace are some of the benefits we take for granted and enjoy as a family living here.
Having walked and explored Northmavine for many years, we never fail to be amazed at the magical surprises we can still find hidden here. It is a pleasure to share this paradise with visitors to our islands, who will appreciate and care for its natural beauty, abundant wildlife, and many birds.
My husband Alistair works for BP at the Sullom Voe Oil Terminal.

I am Marcia. I too enjoy deep sea and trout fishing, embroidery and doing crosswords, but my biggest enjoyment is welcoming people from all over the world to our beautiful islands and providing them with bed and breakfast accommodation at Almara.
